Google Search is testing asking searchers to sign in to verify they are humans and not bots conducting the searches.

Google will stop showing you search results, as you click through the pages, and say "Sign in to verify you're a human and see more results."

Wow. I already hadn’t been using Google for a while, but similar to Reddit, this would ensure I just no longer use it at all even as a fallback.
