Got burned by knockoff sodimm on a recent n150 NAS build. In general though, consumer electronics prices are low, especially compared to housing, health care, insurance premiums, vehicles, and education. Good write-up, accurate take. Chinese engineers gotta eat too though, so yeah, do yer research and caveat emptor!
