Because when it eventually comes out that he is lying his ass off for internet clout about how poorly treated he is being in prison (he has money and generally agrees with our administration - those people rarely are seeing the worst our prison system has to offer), it will make it look like our prisons treat everyone well and anyone else complaining is just trying to get attention, just like this guy.

It makes it so much harder for people actually in shitty prison conditions to get anyone to believe them, even if they have evidence it will get brushed off as exaggeration or fabricated by so many more people because "look at what happened to Andrew Tate, he claimed the same thing and then we found out he was in a room nicer than any hotel I've stayed at with his phone and internet access" (making a lot of assumptions there, hopefully it isn't that, but it's the stereotype for rich people in prison).
