    I came to make my own comment on this. In a vast amount of stupid shit he's said this might still be the dumbest thing.

    Home grown tomatoes are like an entirely different fruit, they taste so, so, so much better than any store tomatoes I've ever had.

    It's hard to even eat store bought now after growing our own.

    This is so outrageous it completely undermines his entire point.

    The superiority of homegrown tomatoes is like THE universally agreed upon gardening fact that everyone who's ever had a garden knows. People go their whole lives thinking they don't like tomatoes or that they taste bland and then they try a homegrown one and they're like "Wow, that's what this is supposed to taste like?"
