The most talked-about film in the country climaxes with an American vigilante methodically murdering ten Syrian refugees in their apartment. Citizen Vigilante was banned in Germany for inciting violence against migrants. Elon Musk’s response was to post the entire film on X for 48 hours, where his hundreds of millions of followers drove it to a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, one of the highest of the year.

"The most talked about film" was made by a German and filmed outside of America. It is talked about because of how garbage and racist it is. So much so that the star of the film has tried to say he didnt even know the whole context of what he was doing, as this article mentions (suuuure Armie). I will concede that racist bigots seem to like it. So you end up with a situation where most people who watch it are racist xenophobes specifically seeking it out and everyone else is avoiding it because they are aware how dumb it is.

I watched it, its nearly unwatchable. The main characters motivations are dumb, the acting is bad, and it is very clearly a bigots power fantasy.
