That sounds like ignoring them to me. If a party disregards you because you didn't vote and there's no one to represent your views, you're disenfranchised. Democrats follow conservative fiscal policies that leave many people behind and measures to reconcile those differences are at best half ones. No one expects everything to be fixed today, but there's some serious issues that need handling now neither party has tried to resolve. That's it, if you cannot be convinced disenfranchised non-voters deserve to be heard as much as voters leaves this at an impossible to surmount impasse.
