    I love the random tangents I get sent on talking birds and other animals with you guys!

    Between researching things every day for posting in the owl group and working at the rehab, it astounds me how little we actually know about even the everyday animals around us. There is still near endless amounts of discovery we have left to do. I thought I would have been bored sharing things long ago, but every day I learn something new.

    Technological advances have really expanded our abilities to study them and share data worldwide, and the part that I think is best is that many opportunities still exist for people with little/no experience can participate in these new discoveries. Since there is no money the research, there are many unexplored spaces left for those that are into this for purely academic interersts.
