    Communists famously ended mass starvation in regions where famine was historically common, and have been far more lenient with responding to insurrections than capitalist countries have. It doesn't take the CIA to check this.

    Well, since the moderator decided you're correct, you must be correct. Nothing convinces quite like an authority censoring references to ideologically inconvenient events, congrats.

    Calling starvation a "staple" of socialism implies socialism caused starvation, when it's more accurately attributed to ending starvation. Letting misinformation fester is partly why so many online spaces get corrupted by right-wingers.
