I honestly think this is one of the biggest flaws with most habit trackers.

If I completed a habit on 29 of the last 30 days, why should one missed day make it feel like all my progress disappeared?

I'd rather see something like:

29/30 days completed (97% consistency)

That tells me I'm doing well and encourages me to keep improving instead of making me feel like I failed.

Do you prefer tracking streaks or overall consistency? Why?

I would prefer a consistency score, because it doesn't doesn't bring the "now its ruined anyway" attitude that sometimes comes with losing a streak
