so i'm not from russia. but i read a lot about it because i want to know how russia works internally.

i think that russia has a kind of feeling that it has to prove itself to the world. historically, for most of human history, if you wanted to prove to other people how great you are, you have to fight a war somewhere and win a lot of land / treasures, etc.

this is changing now and russia has not woken up to it yet. it's like they're still living in the past or sth. we have to communicate more intensely with russia to make them understand this new world.

Russia is not some innocent nubile country. They have been terrorizing and occupying countries for a very long time. They don't give a shit what the west thinks because they are their own empire with no willingness to cooperate or be told what to do.

If they choose to continue to wage imperialistic war, they deserve destruction. If they decide to stop being pieces of shit, then it seems reasonable to talk to them at that point. The west was very welcoming to them during the 90s and 2000s, when they were at least trying to act somewhat normal.
