I've been experimenting with a different approach to habit tracking.

Instead of earning badges that sit in a list, every completed habit earns diamonds that can be spent on "power modules."

Each user has a grid where they place these modules. Certain combinations unlock passive bonuses, unique titles, or new hero builds, so over time your grid becomes a reflection of your consistency and the habits you've focused on.

The goal is to give people something they're excited to build over months instead of just maintaining a streak.

I'm curious what you think.

Does a mechanic like this make habit tracking more engaging, or would it just become another thing to manage after the novelty wears off?

I'd appreciate honest feedback, even if your answer is "this wouldn't work for me."
