Under Privacy Settings, there are options for Device Usage Data, Collect App and Over-the-Air Usage, and Interest-Based Ads. All are enabled by default, but you can disable them. The TV is not mine, I don't watch TV since around 2007. If I can't then reconfigure it so that those who want to watch can, I better not touch.
