The end of that season is kinda chilling. The show is so funny and silly and then it ends in such a serious way. Just like the end of Upstart Crow.

    The reason for it is supposedly budget/practicality - there wasn't really enough space on the set for them to charge for more than a few seconds, so slowing it down was a workaround
