Yes, Lemmy wouldn't be the same place(/places?) & I would miss it, but at the same time all those millions of ppl wouldn't be on other platforms, which I think is a net win.

I'm pretty sure that if it got up to that kind of numbers, we'd end up with a similar mess to reddit, at least to some extent. That being that there's a lot of fucking idiots and bots on Reddit.
