Yeah the expanse book series is apparently three duologies and a trilogy.

But that mindset helped me frame the story better.

    Also, the trilogy is set 30 years after Babylon's Ashes, so even if I'd have liked the TV show to continue after book 6, it finished in a way that doesn't leave any major cliffhangers.

    I'm still hoping they'll simply continue the show 30 years after the last season, so that all actors have the right age. Although

    Spoiler for book 7Duarte hasn't aged because of protomolecule treatment, so that one would still need another actor or a lot of makeup
