Sometimes areas just have bad drivers. One place i lived people would start driving in middle turn lane for 1/2 a mile to pass someone, people drifting out of their lanes etc. Once I moved that happened 1/10th as often, even though I didn't drive any differently. Sometimes everyone else really is the problem.
