the majority of the sources that claimed the uyghur genocide were funded by the US or took it from US sources, you are not immune to propoganda.

    About 13 minutes in in this video Mehdi Hasan has family members of those China is holding in internment confront a representative of China's government.

    If the treatment of Uhygers is so good etc. Why was Naomi Wu silenced by her government for even daring to talk about it and other things. Officially the statement had to do with her exposing a flaw in popular Chinese keyboard apps. Leaking data and exposing their users. However the Crackdown came officially after she released a video on her YouTube channel that was very personal talking about her struggles and experiences under her government growing up and her partners life and experiences dealing with their government now. She was secretly raised as a boy under China's draconian one child policy thankfully now gone. But her partner is a Uhyger. She seems to be safe thankfully but I think one of the last quotes she put out from a 2023 interview speaks volumes.

    Ok for those of you that haven't figured it out I got my wings clipped and they weren't gentle about it- so there's not going to be much posting on social media anymore and only on very specific subjects. I can leave but Kaidi can't...

    Not won't or doesn't want to. But can't. Why CAN'T her Uhyger partner leave? China is perfect everyone is equal. Even the billionaires. Why can't her uhyger partner leave?

    I'm not about to say that our government over here doesn't use them as distractions from their own offenses. They absolutely do. That doesn't make them false. I don't find it all that odd that there isn't a lot of information plastered all over the internet about their plight. Generally the week and the oppressed don't get a megaphone to advertise their position. And a lot of Western nations are just using them as just that tools for their own agendas. Without actually caring or intending to help them in their flight. And their own government would only seek to victimize them. So even if they did have a megaphone why would they use it?

    If there is a boot at my neck I don't care if it's worn by a capitalist or painted red on the foot of an authoritarian fuck them both.

    Al-Jazeera just happens to be based qatar and funded by the US (a US neo-colony), Mehdi Hassan was born in England than moved to the US, which means he’s very likely to be a propoganist of the american empire. “coincidentally”, the movement of “east turkistan” was backed by the IS and the CIA

    I would accuse you of Simply attacking the messenger and not the message. But that would absolutely fail to highlight the complete absurdity of your position. Whether or not Medhi Hassan is the member of a cult, or is a neo-colonialist plant Etc. It's completely irrelevant to what the guests said.

    Could Hassan have an ulterior motive for what he's doing? Absolutely. Does that make what his guests say automatically false by association. No. And as to whether I could trust a member of a cult. I don't know can I? Let's be clear, yes I could trust a cult member on subjects not tied to the cult. I'm sure you and I can have a reasonable conversation and even agree on things outside of China. Still, fuck all states.

    So please respond with what was wrong specifically with what his guests were saying. Can you show that any of them were lying or don't have the family members they're discussing? What of Wu and her partner. Let's actually have a serious discussion here. Not just retort with fallacy.
