Third this. I’m actually impressed by how the internet has cleansed itself of easy access to gore and real violence. I get the curiosity, but deep down, your imagination of how brutal it can be doesn’t need validation of how brutal it is. Not seeing it but knowing it occurs doesn’t make one naive. Seeing it doesn’t enlighten you. We’re as awful as you can imagine.

Im pretty limited in my experience but I don't look to see this stuff. The mild things I have seen are more than aweful enough. What really sucks is I thought we were getting better as a species and I kinda feel we got worse.
