We'd have enemies calling themselves allies under the guise of things like "just being pedantic" or "just asking questions" or "just trying to help you with optics."

I remember about a decade ago I read an article where the title was "If you're still against weed legalization you're just an asshole." and it really hit home for me. Can we agree there's a limit on how long a topic has to be a focus in society before the people who aren't understanding are just choosing to be that way? How long have we been talking about this shit? How much longer until you would admit anyone who still doesn't "get it" is just being an asshole?
