Donald Trump said Sunday that if no peace deal is reached with Iran in the next 48 hours, "we're blowing up the entire country."

The president made the threat Sunday to ABC News' senior political correspondent Rachel Scott in response to a question regarding whether his previously stated timeline of two to three weeks for a deal was still accurate.

Concerns have been raised about targeting civilian infrastructure in Iran and the consequences that could bring.

Sorry for being 'self righteous' about a literal genocide you fucking ghoul. If you're unwilling to exercise electoral leverage to stop a genocide then just abandon the entire concept of democracy. It is not the left's fault that Kamala and the DNC thought the genocide must continue at all costs.

    Voting against Hitler isn't garbage because those in opposition could have influenced Harris or used their intact democracy to work on the issue by primaring dems.

    The destruction of usaid alone will cause millions of preventable deaths including many kids. The stadium full of dead kids doesn't care about your feelings

    Only they didnt. If anything their efforts have started to associate anti-genocide with a disaster like trump and practically guarantee people either switch off in disgust of their rethoric or just jump to the other side to avoid all the tankie bullshit.

    1. Organizations other than the CIA are capable of distributing food and vaccines

    2. Maybe harris should have thought it was worth not supporting a genocide to prevent that then.

    You guys still haven't caught on that you're missing the core of this. There were 2 groups that refused to budge which allowed trump to take power. One group refused to support a genocide, one group refused to stop supporting a genocide.

    So how the fuck are libs more mad about the anti-genocide group for refusing to budge? Seems worth being stubborn about to me, you know, if you think genocide is bad.

    I would have maybe a single ounce of sympathy for the lib side of this argument if the stakes were lower. 'You don't always get everything you want' is a hell of a lot more convincing if the left had refused to play ball over healthcare reform or something. But jesus christ 'don't do genocide' is the lowest possible bar to clear and Kamala still refused.

    Harris isn't responsible for how we vote that is our and only our responsibility.

    They did the beat job providing a convincing platform they knew how obviously insufficient but she like us got one vote

    Harris is absolutely responsible for her platform being pro-genocide what are you on about. It is the candidate's job to appeal to voters, all she offered to the left was 'I'm not him so you have to vote for me'. Turns out we didn't have to. I'm not going to leave the house to maybe get 99% hitler with 1% handwringing instead of 100% hitler.

    I'm not a nationalist I'm a realist. This is why I voted for Harris and support armed forces to enforce a truce in Gaza and no further military aid to Israel.

    You can feel however you like about the choices you have in front of you are still morally obliged to pick the least bad even if you aren't happy with either but extremely simple principals.
