Wonder how much of that minute lead can be explained by an extra set of fresh tires. Either way, it was a fun race to watch. I just started watching NLS and some IMSA racing towards the end of last season, and I think I prefer it over F1 now. The racing is legit, and having multiple classes on track at the same time always keeps it interesting. I think Max will really add some spice to it whenever we get to see him do a recovery drive like weโve seen him do in F1 permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [โ] Sentau@discuss.tchncs.de 12 points 4 months ago (1 child) Wonder how much of that minute lead can be explained by an extra set of fresh tires. None of it. The extra set was used during qualifying. All teams used 3 sets during the race (three pitstops) permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] tehn00bi@lemmy.world 1 point 4 months ago So would it be the race engineers fault for miscounting? permalink fedilink source parent [โ] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago I've been dipping my toes in Formula E and IndyCar this year and yeah the racing is much better than the past few years of F1. The '26 regs are off to a decent start and I hope the good racing continues. permalink fedilink source parent
