Never ever played this game, but it keeps popping up in both my brain and my YouTube feed... So now is the time!

Im guessing from what i can see that the graphical version via steam is to be preferred, although the old school version has so much charm to me. Whats the consensus on these two versions?

And, as always, wish me luck ๐Ÿ’ซ

I think I'm getting into this game - I'm watching this beginning tutorial series and hoping I can actually stick with the game by knowing how to play it

I've played Rimworld, though I consider myself a relative beginner in that game, I am much more comfortable with Rimworld than Dwarf Fortress.

And yeah, the ASCII might be interesting to play someday, but I'm going to start with the Steam graphical version because it seems much more friendly for beginners (and probably more motivating, tbh).
