I’m the same way. But I disagree about Breaking Bad not having any sympathetic characters though. I felt like it did. Yes, they were doing heinous stuff. But I feel like they did a good job at showing the main characters’ humanity despite the poor choices they have made. But I do understand why you would see it the way you do.
