[–] Flashheart@piefed.dk -1 points 5 months ago (1 child) Forgive me for stating the obvious. This "old school" diplomatic approach with armament on both sides of the border, will likely not minimise non-friendly activities. Also, if France have interest in the area and if france have friendly intentions, why is there a need for a military base? permalink fedilink source hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Cypher@aussie.zone 2 points 5 months ago France have interest in the area and if france have friendly intentions, why is there a need for a military base? If has friendly intentions why do they need military bases? That’s how ridiculous you sound. Military bases allow nations to build, maintain and project power in order to protect their interests. permalink fedilink source parent
