This app could potentially supplant Tik Tok overtime. As Tik Tok's censorship following it's acquisition by US investors such as Oracle, Silver Lake, and Abu Dhabi-based MGX, and UpScrolled already having questionable ethics, this may be the path forward.

People also want to use drugs that cause addiction. Is that a good reason to design and create more of them?

You could also implement features that reduce the addictivity as the EU might be demanding of Tik Tok in the future. When it's a federated open source platform with no profit motive that's going to be something much more easy to get in.

If you were an educated adult, you’d know that banning drugs tends to cause more harm. You’d also know that some drugs have positive effects on learning, cognition, attention, memory, mood, emotional regulation, and empathy, when used appropriately and responsibly. All of which contributes to a society of healthy and educated adults.

I was talking about specifically about drugs that cause addiction, not all kinds of drugs in general. Also, I said nothing about banning drugs or anything else. I just don't understand why to produce more of that shit when we as society can't deal with what's already out there.
