I would have just said no, but I don’t know if military can do that:

“The personnel action was reversed, though, when it was determined that no other pilot was immediately available to operate the aircraft for the return flight.”

    Yeah can’t really say no to orders in the military. (Unless they are obviously unlawful)

    I literally would have told her to fuck off. Or at least delay the ever living fuck out of the flight.

    I imagine that would be a career-limiting decision for a military pilot.

    If he instead acts "professionally", which means putting up with her bullshit for the rest of the day, then he has a decent chance of getting quickly reassigned to a role where he doesn't have to deal with her again.
