To be fair, I kind of get it.

After seeing so many other prominent Dems (inexplicably) 'taking the high road', which means doing basically nothing, even seeing one mock the regime in sassy social media posts is refreshing and attention-grabbing.

For all of his many, many, many faults, he's one of the few who has dared to 'take the gloves off' when fighting the fascists ... even if it's actually only in the form of online shitposts. People are desperately thirsty for someone to rally behind and take these fascist fuckers down.
