The Lenovo and ASUS options are all more expensive than the Steam Deck and have been available for years.
Their draw are just various "gimmicks" like a 1080p screen and running Windows 11 stock for better compatibility with competitive shooters.
Why are people willing to deal with reduced battery life from a 1080p screen and a bloated OD? No idea. Why would anyone want to play a competitive shooter on a handheld? Also no idea. Why would anyone want to play with a bulkier handheld that has less battery life and less performance? Also also no idea.
Unfortunately a lot of gamers/consumers have... interesting priorities, hence why they buy these things.
