European organizations are about to launch their own social media platform, W, amid rising tensions with the United States.

Just to clarify that this was posted as informational. I don’t consider that a private social network will be the answer to “protect” the world of another private social network. And consider that there’s already Mastodon, I don’t understand why are we supposed to need another platform.

The W stands for “[W]e trade with genocidal apartheid states and flout international laws agreed upon since the 1940s so we can have the best comforts possible”.
