You might like it or not, but qualitatively, it's one of the best shows out there permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] STUNT_GRANNY@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago (1 child) Plus, having watched Breaking Bad makes all the references/shoutouts in BCS even better. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago I'm also not sure how you watch Better Call Saul without having seen Breaking Bad. It's like watching Wicked having never seen The Wizard of Oz. Sure, you can do it, but a number of scenes, especially in the final season, don't really make sense of you don't know Saul's story from Breaking Bad. permalink fedilink source parent [–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago Also if you're going to watch Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, while not a TV show, the El Camino film is worth watching as well. It's a nice Breaking Bad epilogue that we didn't need, but is well done and worth your time. permalink fedilink source parent
