What exactly was formerly open source? I think the NHS has more to gain from open source than almost anyone else I can think of. Incidentally they are also sitting on possibly the most valuable dataset on the planet.

https://github.com/orgs/NHSDigital/repositories. The UK gov has a lot of open source code repos, which is pretty neat.
