solved - turning on "hide read posts" can cause this

when I go to my profile, and I go to the posts column, it's blank. I also tried searching this subreddit for my post and couldn't find it that way either

I assume this is me not knowing how this works yet

I had the same problem. I had "Show read posts" disabled in my profile settings which led to this phenomenon.

It's a Lemmy quirk and not related to Boost.
