Yeah, you weren't, but I'm quite sure he's not transphobic. But you need to actually watch his shows to get that. Also he's a comedian, he can joke about whatever he wants, he's not making anyone's life harder. And he finds that ppl flaming him for his trans jokes is funny. Anyway, I highly recommend his shows.

    He is explicitly, openly and blatantly transphobic. There is no maybe about it. There is no ambiguity.

    I've only watched his Netflix specials and his old Dave Chapelle show. Maybe he made some public statements that I'm unaware of where he publicly stated being against trans people. I don't actually follow him on any sort of media. If that's the case I apologise and look forward to being corrected with links and stuff.

    None of his shows that I've seen (and I've tried to see them all online) contain anything but jokes and the occasional heart to heart. So that's why he seems like a great guy to me. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    But if the jokes in his comedy specials are the cause of the internet hate against him then I'm gonna have to continue to disagree with that sentiment.

    Anyway, it's clear that your mind is set. To you, he's not transphobic, because the times when he is transphobic don't count, and no matter what transphobia of his you encounter in the future, you will find a reason for it not to count as well.

    He is a transphobe. You are defending him. End of story

    100% agree, if you want to make a statement at least watch his shows. These articles are all clickbait and he doesn’t come off the way they make him out to be.
