I wish this didn't sound so true 😔 we will never have peace in our lifetimes. It'll take 100s more miserable years, and we will likely trigger an apocalypse before we make it better.

    I mean it doesn't, they're definitely going to try to start a war but no one is coming to Venezuelas defense in earnest. Our Navy would crush most attempts before they even went foot dry. All of South America could try to stop us but you'd just end up with guerilla warfare with a president who really really wants to nuke something.

    Putting aside how fucking tired and predictable this response is from do-nothing US liberals outraged that anyone would suggest their good intentions aren’t enough-
