Not sure I was using it as an insult though.

I suppose that’s one way to interpret it.

Another way to interpret it might be that this person actually needs some kind of additional help, to understand and function effectively in the world around them.

Along with roughly 70 million others.

He might not vote for the obvious magats, but he'll still vote red and won't ever consider, even for 1 second, to vote Blue.
