As things stand, it is believed it will not pass. In which case they will probably postpone it again until they can convince the other countries (mainly Germany) to vote in support of it. Ireland are next to get the EU presidency. And what bunch of arrogant twats in charge there. So they'll probably try and push it through. The current leader of the party in charge (Taoiseach/Prime minister) is in trouble, but might hold on to the position for the presidency. But even if he doesn't, the next in line to take his position is probably the current minister for justice - Jim O'Callaghan, who is in favour of it most likely because he doesn't understand it properly.
