The family was rehoused in a flat two bus rides and at least 40 minutes from their primary school

I dont want to say twas different in my day but I regularly travelled an hour to school on several buses as did a number of my friends. Personally I can't see this as a reason not to attend school 🤷. But then I don't have kids so what do I know?
