I agree that the Democrats aren't much better but in no world would these farmers support actual leftism of any sort. These people are not the downtrodden workers that can be swayed to unionization or collective action. They are typically multigenerational land rich old white racists who want to fuck over anyone that helps the brown people they used to own.
