Because we need to be able to defend ourselves and our communities from fascism and others who want to oppress us. Easier said than done of course.

    Unfortunately the definition of fascism varies depending on who you're talking to. There are an astounding number of people in this country who think that allowing abortion or gender affirming care are a form of fascism. And they think it's alright to use guns to fight what they perceive as fascism.

    I get what you are saying, but fighting and organizing to do so are hard. Still you will need to be armed to do so effectively.
