Having an attack dog in your corner is not a bad thing. He can draw attention away from real potential candidates for the Republican smear machine to focus on.

    I don't like this liberal attitude that we need to not have standards and tolerate transphobia and hostility against the homeless to be able to beat Trump at some point. You either cross the finish line with everyone or you don't do it at all.

    this is wokescold purity testing, and it's exactly why we have Trump now. Because wokescolds prioritized some future microaggressions instead of the very real, immediate Fascist reality and decided to dumb things like "protest vote" for Warren, or just not show up.

    Oh cool, trans people are soooo much more protected now. I'm sure all the Trans people who got ejected from military, losing all their benefits feel so much more protected now. All the girls having to submit to "genital inspections" for sports probably all thank you for "having standards".

    I'm gonna break down your nonsense in parts because it is too absurd to even bother countering.

    • Gavin Newsom isn't the presidential candidate, therefore, we can criticize and tell him to fuck off as much as we want.
    • Claiming disliking someone who doesn't believe in human rights for certain people helps Trump is fucking asinine. How is believing in human rights going to help Trump? Please explain to me. There's a difference between a candidate not being perfect and a candidate being a literal photocopy of the opposition.
    • All of those things would happen under Newsom as well because HE IS ALSO TRANSPHOBIC.
    • Kamala lost because she appealed to the inexistent "moderate republican" and preferred to take money from a genocidal ethnostate than listen to their base.
    • Human rights for certain people are not negotiable for the sake of "beating fascism". Negotiating human rights with fascists make you a fascist.

    I "didn't let fascists take over". YOU did by alienating those you needed to win because you thought they weren't important. Unlike you, some people have a spine, and lines they won't cross. The bar for Newsom is fucking underground and he can't even go over it.

    So, let me get this straight. I call out a person playing defense for fascists by scoring into own goal, call them useless, I get a warning....     This is tough on me. I'm not trans so I don't understand all the nuances. Plus, I agree with you, so I'm hesitant because I might be biased. They reported you awhile ago. I really thought you two were making good points and discussing. I might just lock the thread.

    Again, I agree with you. I don't think they're trolling, I think they're angry and don't want to be wrong. I've fought with them myself and was on your side.
