When I started the game, I saw a Lynel. I didn't fight it because it looked powerful and I just had three hearts. Now, I have the power to fight it, but I don't find it anymore. Is there a special time when they appear?

There's a plains just south of Tarrey Town, Ukuku or something like that, I saw a lynel there last night
