I have an expensive knife and try and use any chance I get. I bought it for a tool and not for looking at. But maybe I'm different.

I ripped out my SOG Kiku XR and handed it to my buddy when he didn't have a can opener for his corned beef hash at a football tailgate. The quality stuff should be BETTER at this sort of abuse then the cheap stuff. If it breaks, you gotta get something more up to the task.

The only thing in my EDC is that knife, and it's all I usually need. That short and fat bastard can do work. That said, I'm not into pretending it's a screwdriver.
