Sync Ultra is a very reasonable $17 a YEAR. YouTube Premium is reaching that per MONTH. I have sync downloaded and it was the first thing I did. Thanks lj for the beautiful app.

There are many counterpoints and actually good discussion happening down below. Even if you don't agree, thanks for showing me a different perspective!

If you want to support Sync, make sure to support the Lemmy Devs and your instance holders as well!

Forgive me for speaking to you like a westerner, but you typed like one so I'm assuming we have somewhat-similar environments (but not assuming on individual details of your life).

If you live in a developed western nation and can't afford $1.50 / month, I don't know how you have time to post on forums. I don't mean to be a troll, but that's my gut-reaction. Apologies if I offend.

Even poor people cant work 24/7. I'd agree a $1.50 stretched over a month isn't much. A Twix is twice that. Maybe that half a twix is life or death for some people?
