I have a usbc to lightning cable. can i use that to transfer data from my iPhone 12PM to my iPhone 15PM? (lemmy.world)

The cable already exists for fast charging and what not. Seems like going from this phone to the new one (coming Friday!) should be a piece of cake.

Maybe, but why. Apple has multiple ways to do this seamlessly. You can restore from an iCloud backup or do the wireless device transfer (that always fails for me with nearly 40k images).
