I get the car / road hate. Cars sucks. And devoting so much space to roads and parking sucks.

The US doesnt have small community/ villages - it has sprawling parking lots and ways to get to the next one.

There's a fundamental issue with the way we plan our cities. We plan them around cars, when we should be planning them around people.
