If trump would have died, JD Vance wouldn't be 2nd in command. When he dies now, JD gets the throne and he's a lot worse.

People were done with Trump during and after his first term. Even Fox. But people forgot his shitshow within a few years.

He might have become a martyr, but remember he was shot by a republican. So the damages wouldn't be as big as when it would have been a democrat, or an immigrant.

Political assassination is almost always bad, but there are a few cases where it actually would be beneficial. Like with Hitler for example.
