This happened to me once. Luckily I hadn't left my old job yet, but it motivated me to try harder to find a new one. Then that didn't work out, and when I was looking for a new new job the company that rescinded the offer gave me a new, unrelated offer.

I went with a different choice, and it's been very good for me.
