Im not going to debate this, it has been overused in the last decade leading to people rolling their eyes somewhat when its used.

    No it hasn't. It's just that whenever you call a facist a facist they say "You call everyone a facist!". This is how they work - they deny, delay and downplay any critique.

    And yet, you still replied.

    I've been seeing the US slide into fascism for the past 20 years. As long as I've been politically aware. Bush Jr set the stage of this problem and while none of the Democrats have been actively fascist, they also haven't done anyway thing to reverse course either.

    People aren't rolling their eyes. They're turning their head because they don't want to face reality.
