Why not ? They have restaurants, cafés, farmacia, minimarkets, drinkable tap water and internet. One café even serves as a nightclub.

It is country side so of course it have lesser access to public services like any remote villages in Western Europe but there are two 30 minutes frequency bus line to the nearest towns.

The main problem, as with any beautiful places in Italy, France or Switzerland is that it is probably overcrowded with tourists during the sunny season.

A positive point for Italy tho is that a good 50% or more of tourists are Italian, thanks to la frecce (frecciarossa high speed train) and ticket prices encouraging local tourism. Having your own population moving around the country to enjoy its beauties must be a positive sign.

Naah, if you live there you just take your old and scratched Fiat Panda and drive it everywhere you go it fits everywhere and is unstoppable.
