MLK worked with a Southern Democrat who previously voted to keep lynching legal in Texas. After MLK's assassination, he shepherded the Civil Rights act through Congress and signed it into law as President. That same President went on to give the order to begin bombing Vietnam.

You see, you can still protest and make peaceful change with the mediocre and not fascist candidate. Good luck surviving with the fascist one. That’s what I’m arguing that the left is horrendous at pragmatism.
